The workshop, sponsored by Hanoi School of Public Health, had three main goals: to landscape the educational programs in health sciences in the Southeast Asian region, to review the current health-related university/school policies and plans, and propose modalities for future leadership and institutional developments.

Renovation of Damaged Laboratory and Library

This grant of $25,000 supported renovation of the common research laboratory and library caused by cyclone Nargis in May 2008 at University of Medicine (2) in Myanmar. It also supported replacement of damaged textbooks, journals, and computers, and restoration of Internet access.

This one-year grant of $25,000 renovated the facilities that were damaged by cyclone Nargis in May 2008 at the University of Medicine (1) in Myanmar. It supported repair of the departments of botany, zoology, microbiology, and pathology, as well as replacement of laboratory equipment, computers, and accessories that were damaged during the storm.
