This grant supported an April 2010 meeting of the Commission of Education of Health Professionals for the 21st Century. The Commission is an independent initiative to landscape professional health education in medicine, public health, and nursing, with the aim of generating insights and recommendations for educational innovations to better equip professionals to confront the health challenges of the 21st century. About 20 commissioners are led by co-chairs Julio Frenk and Lincoln Chen. This CMB support to Peking University enabled the Commission to learn about medical education developments in China.
