This grant supported Zhejiang University in hosting a HPSS workshop in August of 2012 that provided a unique platform to bring together about 60 young faculty research in CMB-supported programs to present their research for peer academic exchange. A key objective of the workshop was to offer further training, mentoring, and technical assistance from senior scholars. Overseas young Chinese scholars also attended the conference for further networking and collaboration among young HPSS scholars.
