This three-year project aims to develop community nursing education and establish two rural and three urban practical teaching sites for the training of nursing faculty from community hospitals and health stations. A new curriculum on community nursing will be designed and a textbook will be published. One future faculty member will receive doctoral training in the nursing sciences and several other faculty members will receive short term nursing training at Chiang Mai University Faculty of Nursing in Thailand.
