Talent-Training in Preventative Medicine for Rural Tibet

The goal of this three-year project is to reform the existing training model of TUMC in curriculum, content, and methods and to study and establish a model of grassroots level rural health services. Literature reviews and surveys will be implemented to better understand the current status and overall qualities of preventive medical professionals. The project will focus on optimizing the talent-training model, establishing teaching bases, and strengthening practical knowledge teaching and capacity building. This project aims to improve health at the grassroots level, increase health service capabilities, and promote health by improving the effectiveness of medical professionals, enhancing the qualities of graduates, and actively adapting to the needs of health reform and development. Domestic and international experts will be consulted regarding reform of the training model, curriculum, teaching contents, methods, and process.
