This grant supported capacity building and networking of academic institutions in China and other Asian countries at the 4th annual conference of the Asian Pacific Action Alliance on Human Resources for Health (AAAH) on November 23-25 2009. CMB supported the participation of 14 Chinese and Asian policymakers, academics, and leaders to join this workshop on how medical professionals can be trained and deployed to serve disadvantaged populations.
