This proposal aims to support capacity building and networking of scholars and academic institutions in China and Southeast Asian countries at the 5th annual conference of the Asian Pacific Action Alliance on Human Resources for Health (AAAH) on October 4-6, 2010 in Bali, Indonesia. CMB will support the participation of about 14 Chinese and Asian policy-makers, academics, and medical leaders to join this workshop addressing various issues regarding human resources for health to accelerate progress towards MDGs in developing countries by 2015. A special feature of this AAAH meeting will be opening the entire area of medical university development and professional education, fields of high interest to CMB.
