This study tour enabled nine Vice Presidents of CMB-supported medical universities to visit five multidisciplinary centers in the United States and United Kingdom in November, 2008. The tour aimed to assist the universities in developing their capabilities in health policy, health systems, and population-based health sciences through demonstration of various organizational arrangements, faculty capacities, research agendas, education and training programs, and modalities of linking research production to utilization.
