Strengthening Faculty and Field Sites of the School at the Cambodian National Institute of Public Health
This capacity building grant strengthens several key functions of the nascent School of Public Health at the National Institute of Public Health in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The project will support the School to develop partnerships with two local health departments to create field sites in the provinces of Kampong Thom and Pursat, where students and faculty can work with local authorities on research and evaluation, thereby benefiting local communities while allowing students to develop relevant public health competencies. The project will also develop faculty capacity by supporting training in teaching and student assessments, including regional networking to share experiences on faculty development.The project will provide modest funds to help upgrade the School’s computing facilities and library.
