Insurance for Occupational Diseases and Accidents
This $150,000 study over three years aims to assess the perceived willingness of workers and employers in industries with high rates of occupational diseases or accidents to change from the current industry-based health insurance scheme to a community-based insurance scheme that would provide improved coverage for occupational diseases and injuries. Information about preferences is obtained by proposing hypothetical scenarios to 3,000 survey respondents from seven industries in Zhejiang Province.
