An advanced nursing research course was hosted by the Peking Union Medical College (PUMC) School of Nursing from July 28 through August 5, 2009. This course provided an in-depth exploration of advanced research design in health sciences. The focus of the course is quantitative policy and clinical research employing primary data collection, secondary data analysis, and clinical trial methods. Participants included fourteen doctoral students, who were taught by experts from the United States and Hong Kong.
