The project aims to establish practice bases in community and hospital settings for the training of 195 community nurses in Northeast China over the coming three years. In addition, advanced technical assistance will be sought from Hong Kong -- including sending six China Medical University (CMU) nursing educators to Hong Kong for short-term community nursing training. To strengthen community nursing education, training materials and textbooks will be developed.
