Community-Based Assessment of Regional Training of Health Personnel
In-service training of health personnel is critical for improving the capacity of health services in rural and pastoral areas. The goal of this five-year proposal is to establish a regional training model system that is efficient and practical for Inner Mongolia. Two training bases will be established to train both county-level teachers and farmland and pastoral medical personnel. Through data collection, information concerning community health conditions, lifestyles, population statistics, and environmental conditions will be assembled and the information gathered will be the basis for determining the training content. This proposal aims to train a total of 600 health technical personnel and 120 health management personnel. The principal investigator for this project is Professor Ouyang Xiaohui.
