CMB Collaborating Project in Pharmaceutical and Economic Policy

Among the top proposals we received this year, this CP seeks to improve evidence-based pharmaceutical policy making through academic research and policy translation. Professor Wen Chen and Co-PI Lu Ye will lead a team of three scholars from the Fudan Schools of Pharmacy, Law, and Business and three young scholars from the School of Public Health to conduct researches in evaluating the impact of drug bidding, zero price mark-up and global budget, developing value-based drug pricing system, disseminating findings by training 60 policy makers and conducting two academic symposiums. Joint PhD training with international partners and recruitment of research assistants will be implemented to foster development of young scholars and strengthen the research team.
