This proposal intends to tap into the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (CAMS) resources such as its national cancer and cardiovascular diseases centers and the PI’s professional background in epidemiology and linkages to Peking University in social determinants of health to develop a NCDs CMB-CP. The program aims to become a platform for exchanges in NCDs issues, promotion of NCDs prevention and control innovations, and translation of research into policy actions. The proposed activities include developing a repository of NCDs intelligence and experts, small-scale piloting community-medical center partnership in NCDs prevention and control, promoting multi-center collaborations, developing a China NCDs Report, and providing trainings and seminars in social determinants, epidemiology and biomedicine related to NCDs.
