The Prince Mahidol Award Conference (PMAC) has established itself as one of the premier global health forums for sharing of experiences, policy development and the strengthening of social commitment to global health equity. CMB has supported for the past three years Asian participation at this Conference, especially amongst Chinese participants, long-cut off from these international developments. This four-year proposal will continue that support over the time period 2013–2015. The PMAC theme in 2012 will be on Universal Health Coverage and PMAC theme in 2013 will be “Global Forum on Regional Infectious Disease Surveillance.” PMAC has made a commitment that its 2014 conference will be devoted to the future of professional health education, a theme of high interest to CMB. The 2014 event may form one of the celebratory events of CMB’s 100th anniversary.
