The proposed three-year program would provide advanced post-graduate training in nursing education, nursing management and community nursing in a special diploma program at Fudan University’s Graduate School for approximately 100 participating nurses.  The program aims to strengthen teaching and nursing administration in the region through the development and application of a new curricular framework based on health promotion and evidence-based nursing and health care.  The new curriculum would reflect and address China’s epidemiologic transition to more non-communicable diseases with its attendant implications on nursing education, management, and community nursing.
